Anika Paris is a CRIA double-platinum award-winning songwriter and recipient of the prestigious ASCAP Abe Oleman Scholarship and HOLA Award for Best Music in a Musical. Her career spans music, film, and television, with collaborations with industry giants like EDEL, Sony RED, Warner Bros., Universal, Polygram, and APM. Anika scored the documentary Light Years, and her voice and songs have been featured in iconic productions such as Anthony Bourdain, Sex and the City, Bounce, WiseGirls, So You Think You Can Dance, See Jane Date, and more. As the only female composer for WB Telepictures, her music has been licensed by leading networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, Lifetime, HBO, Oxygen, and MTV.

With a BA in Film and Music, Anika’s unique style reflects her rich background in composing for live theater, television, film, and contemporary music. She has released five solo projects in collaboration with her longtime writing partner, Dean Landon, and has authored two influential books, Making Your Mark in Music and Five Star Music Makeover. A published poet, her work has appeared in numerous books and anthologies, and she is among 125 poets selected for the special mission to the moon on the Codex Polaris rocket.

Anika is a dedicated educator, she taught at the Musicians Institute, and currently teaches at the Grammy and UCLA Extension Entertainment Studies. She serves as a board member for the Musicians Foundation, and is a voting member of NARAS (The Grammys).
